Jean M Dobbs

Jean M. Dobbs, 75, passed away on March 20, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born on August 4, 1943 to the late William and Iva (Russell) McGwier in Vaughn, NM. Jean loved showing dogs, was one of the Founding Members of the Valencia Valley Kennel Club and the NM Toy Group Club. Jean will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Johnny Dobbs. Jean is survived by her son, Jeff W. Whyman and wife Margie of Los Lunas, NM; brother, Rodrick McGwier; grandchildren, Audrey Nava, Abigail Cunningham and Christopher Whyman and great grandchildren, Natalie Nava, Emily Nava, Donovan Cunningham, Dylan Cunningham and Madilyn Cunningham. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, New Mexico. Pastor Nash will Officiate. Pallbearers will be Christopher Whyman, Joshua Nava, Matthew Cunningham Jr., Wayland Dobbs Sr., Wayland Dobbs Jr. and Ronnie Bell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ray Hummel, Charles Orrie and Roddie Mitchell. Burial will follow at the Round Top Cemetery in Mountainair, NM.
