Jane Ann Hensley, born on March 3, 1940, in Falmouth Kentucky, passed away peacefully on October 9 2024, in Moriarty, New Mexico. A devoted homemaker, Jane dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home. Her commitment to family and her nurturing spirit were evident in all she did.
Jane’s educational journey concluded with the 11th grade, but her wisdom and kindness far surpassed any formal education. She had a gentle personality, always extending kindness to those around her. A true music enthusiast, Jane had a special love for Elvis Presley, which brought joy and nostalgia to many of her cherished moments.
She is survived by her beloved daughters, Deborah Ann Hensley and Penny Hensley, both of Moriarty, NM, as well as Tammy Merritt and her husband Paul Merritt of Ozark, Missouri. Jane also leaves behind her sisters, Patsy Hamm and Donna Brown, who will remember her with deep affection and fond memories.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Orville (Buddy) Hensley, and her grandson, Victor Orth Hensley. by her sister, Wanda Estep, and her brother, Lester Cox. Each family member’s life was touched by Jane's unwavering love and support, leaving an indelible mark that will continue to resonate through the generations. she also left behind 6 grandchildren 12 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Her legacy of kindness and her joyous spirit will be cherished by all who knew her. Jane Ann Hensley will be warmly remembered for the love she shared, the music she enjoyed, and the lives she enriched. Service's to be held at a later date
