James Gilbert (Gebo) Mitchell

James Gilbert Mitchell (Gebo) passed away on Apr 22, 2023, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Gilbert was born in Maxwell, New Mexico on April 18th, 1943. He had a passion for the Dallas Cowboy football team, which he shared with his family and friends. Gilbert was preceded in death by his father Tomas Mitchell, his mother Molly Mitchell, and his brother Tomas Mitchell (Pinky). Gilbert is survived by his wife Janet Mitchell, his children Cary Mitchell, Christopher Mitchell, Colleen Price, and Cherie Mitchell, and grandchildren Tristan Price, Megan Mitchell, Allison Price, Aailayh Mitchell, TaShawn Jackson, Madison Price, and McKenna Mitchell. Gilbert also had three Great Grandchildren Aleeza, Arlene and AriyElla. He was survived by his brothers and sisters, Yolanda Trujillo, Patsy Vaughn, Joe Mitchell, Allen Mitchell, Anthony Mitchell and numerous nieces and nephews. Gilbert was a great father, husband, grandfather, uncle, and friend. A celebration of life will be held on June 10th, 2023, in Maxwell, New Mexico
