James Kellogg passed away on June 16, 2018 in Ruidoso, New Mexico. He was born in San Diego, California on April 23, 1978 to Steve and Marla Kellogg. James received his General Equivalency Diploma in 2014 in Ruidoso New Mexico, and was so proud. James greatest Love, was for his son Taj. They enjoyed the outdoors together while bike riding. Just sitting indoors talking together about the bible and life. James’s passion was his BMX riding from a very young age. He enjoy hiking and target shooting, and enjoyed being outdoors and Astronomy. James enjoyed helping and giving to people to put a smile on their face. Danietta Griffin was James’s Fiancée. They spent a lot of time planning their Future together, along with enjoying their sun sets, the night sky, and reading the bible together. James leaves behind, his beloved son Taj, Fiancee  Danietta Griffin of Ruidoso NM. Brother  Steve Kellogg and his wife Jessie, Niece Avril and Nephew Alden of Lemon Grove Ca. Step Father Bill Hightower of Ruidoso, Uncle Terry Vedder and his wife Laura Vedder of CO. Aunt Irene and Uncle Harry Pettersen of Ruidoso NM. Aunt Nancye Vedder of San Diego Ca.  Cousins Amy Gochenour of Ruidoso and Heather Kear of Spokane WA. And lots of second cousins Preceded in Death by Steve Kellogg Father, Marla Hightower Mother, Grandparents Mr and Mrs Kellogg of San Diego, James Vedder Grandfather, Frances Jones Grandmother, Cousins Sara Lepard, William Gerhardt, Thomas Tollison III. Celebration of Life will be June 30, 2018 at 12:00 Forest Rd 127 A Eagle Creek off of Ski Run Rd. at HWY 532. There will be a Memorial bike run shortly after 12:30. Bring your chairs and your favorite drinks along with a picnic lunch and feel free to share your short story about James that might have touched you in some way. We will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers.
