James Michael Cunningham

James Michael Cunningham, 74, of Edgewood, NM, passed away February 18, 2023. Jim was born in Alexandria, VA, August 12, 1948 to Lynn and Alice Cunningham (Johnson). Jim was the director of the Cardio Pulmonary Department at Kaseman Presbyterian Hospital. After retirement, he was the pastor of Community Church of the Sandias. He faithfully served the Lord until death. Jim is survived by his wife, Kathy, his children: Amy Cunningham, Jennifer (Mike) Fenstermacher, Joy Tucker, Daniel Cunningham, and Rebecca Fort; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Kathleen Barker, Patricia Smith, Ann Foreman, Jean McConnell, and Lynne Brown and numerous nieces and nephews. Thank you to Ambercare, especially Renata and David. Your care for Jim was exceptional. Your love for him beyond words. Visitation will be held Monday, February 27, 2023, 5pm-7pm at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary, Moriarty, NM. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023, 11am at Stanley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Albuquerque Rescue Mission or the Salvation Army.
