Ray Clark

Ray Clark, 68, passed away on April 27, 2021 in Mountainair, New Mexico. He was born on July 13, 1952 in Hominy OK to the late Charles and Clara (Passmore) Kirkwood. Ray was loved by many, he had a huge heart and his door was open to all. He would drop whatever he was doing to help anyone in need. One of his favorite things to do was gather with friends and play music. He was “the most to say the least”. Ray will be deeply missed by his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents William and Edna Kirkwood and Lennis and Richard Passmore, parents Charles and Clara Kirkwood, brother-in-law Olin Solomon and former wife, Irene Tino-Clark. Ray is survived by sisters Clarissa “Kitty” Solomon and Cassie Caster and husband William, former wife and mother of his daughters, Linda Jaramillo, daughters Sarah Sunset Kayser and husband Randy, Jackie Dawn Clark, and Crystal Tino-Perez and husband Mario, grandchildren Dustin Kayser and wife Joanna, Crystal Sisneros and husband Ruben, Haylee Kayser, Brandon Summers and fiancé Priscilla, Linda Alderete and Marissa Alderete, great grandchildren Anthony Sisneros, Marcos Sisneros, Kambria Kayser, Peighton Sisneros, Austin Kayser and Kaiya Kayser, many nieces and nephews and his faithful, beloved dog, Hoss, who was with him until the end. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at the Church of the Nazarene in Mountainair, New Mexico. The Viewing be will at 10:00 A.M and the service will follow at 11:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the Mountainair Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Willis Smith, Randy Smith, Butch Briody, Tom Clements, Patrick Passmore, Dustin Kayser and Brandon Summers. Honorary Pallbearers are the many, many friends and family whose lives were impacted by Ray Clark.
