Harry David Horton

Harry David Horton, 73, of Edgewood, New Mexico, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022. Memorial service is set for 12 pm noon, Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Edgewood Community Center, 27 East Frontage Road, Edgewood, New Mexico. Born June 30, 1949, in Culver City, California, he was the son of Robert D. Horton and Imogene (Baker) Horton. Harry spent most of his life as a self-employed general contractor with a small excavation business. Harry graduated high school from Bellflower High School Class of 1967 in Bellflower, California. Harry had a love for surfing, music, and fast cars in his younger years. Harry married Jaynne Shroyer Horton in 1982 in Tijeras, New Mexico. They had a son and daughter together. Harry enjoyed social visits with friends and family, playing his guitar, and discussing world issues. He spent the last eighteen years of his life working with others to share the joys of sobriety. Harry is preceded in death by his parents of Edgewood New Mexico. Harry leaves behind to cherish his memories, his son Clifford Horton and wife Courtney Horton from Abilene, Texas; daughter, Barri (Horton) Patscheck of Albuquerque; grandchildren Gabe and Noah of Abilene, Texas; ex-wife, two brothers and a sister of Edgewood, New Mexico.
