Gloria Herlinda Vigil

Gloria Herlinda Vigil, 80, of Torreon, NM quietly and peacefully passed away on Saturday June 6, 2020, in Albuquerque, NM, surrounded by her loved ones. Gloria was born March 23, 1940, to Ralph J. and Eulalia (Molina) Peralta, in Pasadena, CA. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Manuel Vigil Jr; son Philip Hernandez; daughters, Catherine Hoffman and Roberta Valdez; brother Stanley Peralta, and sister Margaret Gutierrez Gloria is survived by four daughters, Estefanie Hernandez of South Pasadena, CA, Nancy Burrus-Vigil (Jeff) of Valley Center, CA, Catalina Campos (Martin) of Valley Center, CA, Genevieve Vigil of Chandler, AZ; brother Robert Peralta; sister Sheila Peralta, and sister-in-law Becky Peralta. 14 grandchildren, and 9 Great grandchildren. Gloria was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and truly a remarkable woman, loved deeply by all who knew her. She was highly respected as an authentic, spiritual woman, an avid student of the Bible. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Tijeras, NM. One of her greatest Joy's was watching over her great granddaughter Layla Lynn Vigil, parents Julian and Patricia (Vigil), and she enjoyed a special bond with grandson Jake Anderson. Memorial services will be held July 25, 2020 in Torreon, NM. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
