Gloria Anita Muller

Gloria Anita Muller, 83 a life time resident of New Mexico, passed away May 22, 2023 in Edgewood, NM. Gloria was born July 4, 1939 in Juan Tomas, NM to the late Andres and Anita (Griego) Garcia. Gloria met and married Albert John Muller on June 23, 1956 in Bernalillo County. Albert preceded her in death on January 11, 2018. She is also preceded in death by a son Christopher Paul Muller; sisters Candelaria Herrera, Lonie Martinez, Clotilde Marquez, and Margaret Geneva Garcia; Brother-in-laws Antonio Salazar, Tony Martinez, and Pablo Herrera. Gloria loved flowers, baking and was a Cursillista in the Cursillo Movement of the Catholic Church; that’s where Gloria and Albert’s music ministry began. They were members of the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Edgewood, NM. Gloria was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Gloria is survived by two sons, Albert Muller and his wife Concha of Albuquerque, NM, and Andrew Muller of Edgewood, NM; three daughters Janet Doyle and her husband Joe Craig of Edgewood, NM, Caroline Tow and her husband Del of Albuquerque, NM, and Beverly Benavidez and her husband David of Las Cruces, NM; one sister, Guadalupe Salazar and brother-in-law Andy Marquez. She was blessed with nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Funeral services are as follows, Viewing Saturday June 3, 2023 at 9:00 am followed by the Rosary at 10:00 am and Mass at 11:00 am all at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Edgewood, NM followed by the burial at Mountain Valley Cemetery in Edgewood, NM with Father Adrian Sisneros officiating. Pallbearers will be Joe Craig Doyle, Roger Del Tow, David Benavidez, Joe Casey Doyle, Paul Christopher Benavidez, and Dominic David Benavidez. Funeral arrangements were entrust to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
