George Ralph Gallegos

George Ralph Gallegos, 68, a longtime resident of Willard, NM passed away Dec. 23, 2023 at his home in Willard, NM. George was born July 7, 1955 in Clovis, NM to Senon Gallegos and Reyes Medina. He graduated from Estancia High School in 1972, and then worked for the US Forest Service in Mountainair, NM as a squad leader of a Hot Shot crew. George is preceded in death by his parents Senon Gallegos and Reyes (Medina) Zamora; Step father Lee Zamora; brother Benjamin Gallegos and sister in law Helen Gallegos. George is survived by one son, Dominic Gallegos and his wife Kim of Los Lunas, NM; one daughter Tanya Gallegos of Austin, TX; three brothers, Benny Gallegos, Steve Gallegos, and Rudy Zamora; two sisters, Josephine Chavez and Michelle Aguilar; and three grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held as follows; Rosary will be recited Tuesday Jan. 23, 2024 at 10:00 am followed by the celebration of Mass at 11:00 am both at Our Lady Of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
