Dr. Fred B. Skrepcinski died suddenly of a heart attack in his sleep on June 8, 2019. Fred was not just a jack of all trades; he mastered any project, hobby, goal he set his mind to. At any moment you could find him rebuilding the engine of a classic car, sketching a drawing of a World War II era plane, exploring the Sandia mountains with his beloved dog Virgil, or researching medical journals. Fred had a sarcastic wit that could leave anyone in stitches. Health and fitness were very important to Fred, he could outrun most 25 year olds. Fred served in the United States Public Health Service for over 35 years. His sudden departure has left his wife, Denice, and daughter, Alyssa in disbelief. Fred accomplished so much in his life but never bragged about it. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
