Florence Madril-Montoya

Florence Madril-Montoya, 74, passed away in Stanley, NM on February 7, 2018. She was born on August 30, 1943 in Magdalena, NM to the late Samuel and Raina Madril. Florence was a sweet and gentle soul who absolutely loved to love everyone around her. Her favorite pastimes were coloring and reading and will be deeply missed by her family and friends. She is also preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Madrid and Julio Madrid. Florence is survived by her beloved husband of 51 years, Richard Montoya of Stanley, NM; sons, Samuel Montoya and wife Antoinette of Moriarty, NM and Anthony Montoya of Stanley, NM; daughter, Cindy Aragon of Stanley, NM; sisters, Sally Otero of Los Lunas, NM and Josie Sedillo of Albuquerque, NM as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Florence was blessed with 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. The Rosary will be recited at 9:00 A.M. and the Celebration of Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. Pallbearers will be Michael Murphy, Jonathan Murphy, Mark Murphy, Abel Chavez, Geno Chavez and Renita Encinias. Interment will be at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, New Mexico. Arrangements were entrusted to Harris-Hanlon Mortuary.
