Ernest “Randy” Lueras 46, passed away on November 11,2020 in Hobbs New Mexico. He was born in Las Vegas NM on June 11, 1974. Randy worked for New Mexico Department of Transportation for 20 years. Randy was a member of First Baptist Church in Corona NM. Randy was an avid hunter and fisherman, he loved being in the outdoors and he found joy in passing on his knowledge of hunting and fishing or any other knowledge he had to anyone who would listen and wanted to learn. Randy was a kind man who had the patience of a saint and knew what to say at the right moment to bring you comfort, he was always there to give advice, encouragement and gentle guidance. His eyes would shine when he smiled and you could feel the love and warmth, he had a laugh that was contagious, when Randy was around you could not help but be drawn to him. Randy was a Son, Father, Grandfather, Husband, Friend, Mentor, Teacher and an amazing human being. He taught us all that life was not fair but we had to keep pushing forward and to fight the good fight and to cherish your loved ones and live life to the fullest because tomorrow is not promised. Randy had a remarkable love for our Lord, his family, his children and his grandchildren. Randy touched everyone’s life in some way, and will be greatly missed by all. Randy is preceded in death by his grandfather Ernest J. Lueras. He is survived by his wife Misty Lueras, Children Troy Dial, Savannah Lueras, Luke Lueras, Reba Burns and husband Derek, Hannah Corn and husband Steven, Grandmother Lucy Lueras, Father Danny Lueras and wife Margie, Mother Sherry Evans and husband Badger, Sister Rachel and husband Todd, Brother Phillip and wife Jena, Grandchildren who were the apple of his eye Hae’Leigh (Edelweiss), Destyni (Scooter) and Noah Randall ( Lil Randy). Due to covid restrictions there will be no Services at this time.
