Dorthy Jean Moorhead Packham

Dorthy Jean Moorhead Packham, 76, a longtime resident of Estancia, NM, passed away February 18, 2022 in Estancia, NM. Dorthy was born June 26, 1945 in Fairfield, CA to Ocie Runnel “Dick” and Rachel Beatrice (Toler) Moorhead. Dorthy married Gordon Van Packham, on August 15, 1970, in Mountainair, New Mexico and he preceded her in death on July 14, 1996. She is also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Orval Shelton Moorhead, and Alton Runnel Moorhead; two sister-in-laws Janice Moorhead and Betty L Moorhead and her brother-in-law Herman L. Riley. Dorthy is survived by one son Jhon Panfilo Bennett and his husband Jeremy; one sister Leah Marie Riley; one brother Alvin Welton Moorhead; one sister-in-law Mary Leah Moorhead and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held Saturday March 5, 2022 @ 11:00 am at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM burial will follow at the Mountainair Memorial Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
