Dorothy Alice Eagle

Dorothy Alice Eagle, 90, of Edgewood (and late of Hagerman, ID), went to her eternal rest on Sunday, August 29, 2021. Dorothy was born in Boston, MA on November 30, 1930, the daughter of Joseph Lynch, a WW1 veteran, and Dorothy (Chessman) Lynch in Somerville, MA. She was devoted to the love of her life, Robert Eagle, a Navy veteran, and her 5 children. After nearly 60 years of marriage, Robert preceded Dorothy in death in 2012. She is also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, George, Robert and Joseph. Dorothy is survived by her children, Wayne Eagle (Sheila) of Pine Valley, Calif., Kevin Eagle (Gina) of Suffolk, Va., Cynthia Eagle-Ervin (David) of Edgewood, NM, Donna Eagle (Norm) of Las Vegas, NV, and Carol Comer (Randy) of Edgewood, NM. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 am Friday, September 3rd, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. Interment, alongside her beloved husband Robert will be in the Elmwood Cemetery in Gooding, Idaho at 11am on September 7, 2021. Arrangements in New Mexico are under the care of Harris Hanlon Mortuary of Moriarty and in Idaho, Farnsworth Mortuary of Jerome, Idaho.
