Dominic Dale Shipman, Born on August 16, 1993 in Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on July 1, 2020 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dominic was a avid sportsman with a love for baseball since he was 5 years old and coached by his father. He has been singing in Spanish and English from the time he could walk. Dominic never missed an opportunity to bring a smile, lend a hand or give his last dollar to a friend in need. He was an awesome son, father, brother, and friend. Dominic is preceded in death by his grandmother, Emma Ortiz and uncle, Larry Encinias. Dominic is survived by his mother, Nicky Shipman; Father, Joel W. Shipman Sr.; (Florence Lopez) Sons, Jaxon Shipman, Weston Shipman; Mother of his children, Regan Rembold; Brother, Joel W. Shipman Jr. and wife Shelby Shipman; nephew, Evan Shipman; niece, Emma Shipman; maternal grandparents, Arthur M. Vahlkamp and Angela Gilbert; god parents, Maryanne Miceli-Mendoza and Andy Encinias as well as numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A Viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Villanueva. The Rosary will be recited at 9:30 A.M. and the Celebration of Mass will follow at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be at the Villanueva Community Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Issac Montoya, Christopher Encinias, Josh Brito, Chance Hritz, Gabriel Tapia, and Aaron Dinkel. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Strite, Nick Jones and Eric Tapia.
