Corina Martinez

Corina Marie Martinez 1982-2021 Corina Marie Martinez, 39, was escorted by a legion of holy angels into the pearly gates of Heaven on Monday, November 22nd, 2021. She now rests in the loving arms of Jesus, her Lord and Savior. Corina was born on August 28th, 1982 in Albuquerque, NM into the home of Mark and Geneva Martinez, where she witnessed Christian values. She enjoyed gaining knowledge from the Bible. Although she was of a quiet kind of personality, she was a good listener and was usually eager to witness God’s love. She graduated from Mountainair Christian School in Mountainair, NM and became a scholar of living out her faith. Her passions were for art, anime and manga, reading, and animals, including her dog Saya. Corina was also very knowledgeable about many other things as she was always eager to learn and always spoke her mind. She not only had an Earthly mother and father’s guiding hand on her shoulder, most importantly she had her Heavenly Father’s hand to guide and lead her to her eternal home. Corina is survived by her father Mark Martinez, elder sister Genell Chavez-Morris and husband Dane Morris, niece and nephew Alanna and Tyler Chavez-Mitchell, grandfather Johnny Chavez, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held at the First Assembly of God in Estancia, NM on December 18th at 1pm.
