Cora "Boots" Bernice Corvin

Cora Bernice Tipton Corvin “Boots”, went to be with her maker on Sunday, May 19, 2019. She was born on March 29, 1941 in Erwin, TN to the late Sherman and Mable (Garland) Tipton. Boots was a resident of Stanley, NM for 46 years. She loved to crochet, garden and loved her western movies. One of her favorite pastimes was to play Wa-hoo the game. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Boots is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Orman Corvin; son, Allen Corvin and grandson Justin Dahl. She is survived by her son, Anthony Corvin (Dennis Chavez) of Albuquerque, NM; daughter, Pamela Sanders (Lester) of Belen, NM; brother, Larry Tipton (Julie) of Flagstaff, AZ; sisters, Barbara Butler of Limestone, TN, Kay Wright (Gary Collins) of Aztec, NM and Wanda Rogers (Allen) of Telford, TN as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Boots was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at the Harris Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. Pastor Nash will officiate. Pallbearers will be Brandon Corvin, Cody Corvin, Devon Corvin, Travis Bryar, Kevin Dahl, John Lopez and Jayce Alderson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dennis Chavez, Lester Sanders and Sisco Garcia. Burial will be at the Stanley Cemetery in Stanley, NM.
