Carolyn Ruth Hollon

Carolyn Ruth Hollon, 82, a lifetime resident of Mountainair, NM, passed away April 21, 2021 at her home in Mountainair, NM. Carolyn was born August 20, 1938, to Walter Lee and Dorothy Ruth (Flemins) Thomas in Mountainair, NM. She married Carl Edward “Curly” Hollon December 21, 1956 in Bernalillo, NM. Carolyn will be remembered as a Loving Wife, Daughter, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt; and will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Sara Ellen Hollon; one son Carl Allen Hollon; and sister Patricia Thomas Perkins. Carolyn is survived by her Loving Husband of 64 years Carl Edward “Curly” Hollon of Mountainair, NM; one son Lyndall Lee Hollon and his wife Crystal of Los Alamos, NM; one daughter Cheryl Jean McCarthy and her husband Robert of Albuquerque, NM; four grand children and six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM
