Carmen Frances Garcia

Carmen F. Garcia 78, was a lifetime resident of Willard, NM, passed away September 17, 2022. Carmen was born April 30, 1944 in Willard, NM to Luben Garley and Frances Ortiz. Carmen was married to Jose (Shag) Garcia, March 1965. She is preceded in death by her parents Luben & Frances Garley: brothers: Butch Garley, Alan Teonnies, brother-in-law Chris Garcia, and grandson Steven (Bubba) Garcia. Carmen is survived by her husband of 58 years Jose (Shag) Garcia, sons Xavier (Adrian) Garcia, Santiago (Alex) Garcia, his wife Lisa, and daughter Tamara Mendez. Grandchildren, Paul and Daniel Garcia, Evany Garcia and Britnee Mendez. Nine great grandchildren. Brothers and sisters, Patsy Toennies, Arthur Garley, Martha Lisczc, Margaret Tyler, Leroy Garley, Michael Garley, Gerald Garley and Marina Garley, as well as many nephews and nieces brother and sister in laws. Pallbearers are godchildren: Cassandra Garcia, Saul Sena, Elias Garley, Desirae Dile, Victor Corral III, Danielle Garcia, Michael Gomez, Cass Tyler and Kai Santiago Garcia. Rosary service will be held Saturday October 1, 2022 @ 10:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Willard, NM, funeral at 11:00am. Burial will follow at El Rosario Cemetery. Reception to be help at the Estancia Catholic Center. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM.
