Carlos Ray Trujillo August 29,1978 - February 4,2022 Carlos Ray James Trujillo 43, A beloved husband, daddy, grandpa,nino, son, son-in-law, brother, grandson,uncle and friend gained his angel wings as he entered heavens gates on February 4, 2022. He was born August 29,1978, Albuquerque, New Mexico to Alvin Trujillo and the late Rosemary F (Valdez) Lujan. Carlos met the love of his life for 23 years, Beverly Moya Trujillo; they married in July 2005 in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Carlos will be remembered for the love he had for his family, especially his six grandchildren, he had a heart of gold and was a compassionate caring and loving person he loved to make everyone laugh with his jokes and funny ways and clowning around,he loved to dance and sing, he also enjoyed camping. He could light up a room with his contagious smile and humor; he is going to be missed by all that knew him for the person he was and that was the life of the party and his huge hugs. Carlos worked for many years in corrections; he began his Correctional Career in 1997 at the Torrance County Detention Center in Estancia,New Mexico just out of high school. He left corrections for a few years but it was in his blood and he returned in 2007 when he was promoted to sergeant he transferred to Northwest Correctional Facility in Grants, New Mexico and was promoted to lieutenant and then captain till 2019 so he could spend more time with his family, he moved on to do security at Grants High School then covid hit and he decided to move his family back to Albuquerque, New Mexico. He later became employed at Standard Restaurant Supply. Carlos is preceded in death by his parents Step Dad James Lujan and Rosemary F (Valdez) Lujan, his maternal grandparents Raymundo and Lucia (Chavez) Valdez Jr.,grandfather Alvino Trujillo, great grandparents, his uncles Lawerance, Donald and Tim Trujillo, and two angel grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Beverly, daughters Jesusita Torres and husband Jerry of Albuquerque, New Mexico; Gabriella (Gaby) Gutierrez of Albuquerque, New Mexico; son Steven Gutierrez Jr and wife Victoria of Albuquerque; six grandchildren Leevi, Zoee and Tinsley Gutierrez, Zane Smith, and Maximiliano and Diego Torres; his godson Cruz Mora Zamora of Albuquerque; his father and mother in law George and Frances Moya Sr. of Tijeras,New Mexico; his nana Connie Garcia of Truchas,New Mexico; his other mama Michelle Schmidt of Macintosh,New Mexico, sister Shea Trujillo of Estancia, New Mexico; brother Timothy Trujillo and Ashley of Willard,New Mexico, numerous nephews, nieces, aunts,uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 8,2022 at St.Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church 5712 Paradise Blvd NW Albuquerque,New Mexico. The Rosary will begin at 9:30 AM followed by Mass at 10:15 AM. A reception will follow at Eventos Paraiso 233 San Pedro Dr NE Albuquerque, New Mexico. Cremation was entrusted Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, New Mexico
