Brian Corey Charlson, 43, passed away on October 16, 2018 at his home in Estancia, New Mexico. He was born on October 4, 1975 in Albuquerque, NM. Brian fought a long and hard battle with Multiple System Atrophy. Brian was a Navy Veteran and enjoyed his later career as a semi- truck driver. Brian and his wife Nicole were married for 14 years and have three beautiful children Corey, Faith and Leland. He was a devoted father and husband, even through his illness Brian was at every game at the baseball fields or gym supporting his precious children with his wife by his side. Brian was the ultimate grill master, he loved to laugh and spend time with family and friends, his faith shined through his smile. His family and friends will miss him deeply. Brian is survived by his beloved wife, Nicole Charlson and children Brian Corey Charlson Jr, Faith Corynn Charlson and Leland Cody Charlson; father Del Charlson and wife Mary of Kansas; mother, Sheila Raught and husband William of NM; brothers, Kevin Charlson and Keith Charlson and wife Rita; his sisters, Marisa Barrett and husband Chad, Jennifer Martinez and Janelle Martinez as well as numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins and lots of amazing friends. Brian is preceded in death by his father and mother in-law Richard and Socorro Chavez, his grandparents, Paul and Laura Self, Lorin and Virginia Charlson and brother, Kenneth Charlson. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at the Calvary Chapel in McIntosh, NM. Pastor Michael Nasci will officiate. Burial will be at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM to be scheduled at a later date. Brian always took comfort in and reassured others by saying: “IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL”.
