Bobby Joe Martinez

Bobby Joe Martinez, 48, met the eyes of Jesus on February 15, 2022 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was born on May 21, 1973 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Bobby was a lifetime resident of New Mexico. He loved the outdoors and taking long cruises in his car. He had a passion for music, loved to dance and hang out at the casino from time to time. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. Bobby is preceded in death by his grandparents, Cayetano and Celeste Chavez; uncle, Walter Wilcox and brother, Arthur Chavez. Bobby is survived by his father, Johnny R. Martinez Sr. ; mother, Verna Chavez; stepfather, Bruce Jones; brothers, Johnny R. Martinez and wife Josie, Raymond J. Martinez and George D. Martinez and wife Yvette. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, New Mexico with the viewing and Rosary from 10:00-11:00 with the Mass following. Pallbearers will be George Martinez, Raymond Martinez, George Martinez Jr. Anthony Martinez, Johnny R. Martinez, Abran Apodaca and Anthony Chavez. Honorary Pallbearers are Betina Martinez, Hope Martinez, Virginia Lucero, Ashley Cuevas and Aaron Chavez. Burial will follow at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, New Mexico.
