Betty Janway

Betty Janway (Betty Lou Neeley), 91, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2023, at her home in Centennial, CO. She was born in Clovis NM in 1931 and then moved with her parents to Mountainair when she was young. She graduated from Mountainair High School and then went on to have a 30-year career with the ATSF (Santa Fe) Railroad. She is preceded in death by her parents Doc and Johnnie Belle Neeley; brothers John and Bob Neeley, sisters Geneva LaJune Neeley, Dorothy Cole, Barbara Neeley, and daughter Roxie LaJune Moreland. She is survived by her daughter, Lori Overton of Aurora, CO, nieces, and numerous grandchildren. A graveside memorial service at Roundtop Cemetery is scheduled for Saturday, September 16th at 10am. Curtis Moreland will officiate.
