Beryl S Gustin

Beryl S. Gustin passed away November, 17, 2019. Beryl was born on January 24, 1922 in Progresso, N.M. to Glen and Clara Gustin. In August of 1942, Beryl married the love of his life Dorothy Elizabeth Toombs.Beryl served in the United States Navy on the USS Ticonderoga during WW11. After returning home from WW11 Beryl farmed privately and for the NM Game and Fish. Beryl’s hobbies were hunting, fishing, raising pheasants, traveling in his motorhome, square dancing, playing cards and dominoes, and spending time with his family.Beryl is preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Clara, his wife of 66 years, Dorothy and son Daryl Gene Gustin.Beryl is survived by 3 sons; Larry and wife Patsy of Estancia, NM; Terry and wife Mary of Belen, NM; and Ronnie and wife Doris of Mountainair, NM and Daughter in-law Gloria Gustin of Kirtland, NM. Beryl has 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, several bonus grandchildren and great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers: Mike, Beryl Jacob (BJ), Shane, Wesley, and Caleb Gustin; Christopher and Larramy Roberts.Honorary Pallbearers: Kolten and Kaden Riggs; Konner Gwynne; Hunter; Gideon Corliss and Cassidy Gustin.Services for Beryl will be held Saturday, November 23rd, 10:00 am at Estancia Church of Christ. Brother Darrell Roberts will be officiating. Interment will follow with full military honors at the Estancia Cemetary.The family appreciates the outstanding care Beryl received at Beehive Homes of Bosque Farms and the VA Medical Center.
