Beatrice Andrea Benbow

Beatrice (Bea) Benbow 57, a lifelong resident of Edgewood, passed away peacefully on September 1st. She is survived by her husband of 29 years, Mike. Daughters Jennifer Christenson, Jamie Osborn (Carl) and son Jimmy Lovell (Monica). She was the grandma of six; Justin, Jordan, Jesse, Kaylee, Shylynn and Carolus, and the great grandma of six. Sister in law to Jack and Della Rector, Aunt to Nephews; Shawn Rector (Ness), Jason Rector (Shantell), David Ellis (Elise), Ron Ellis (Diane) and Sonny Benbow (Diane). Nieces April Cordova, Sara Kern (Phil) and numerous great Nieces and Nephews. Bea was previously employed with Moriarty-Edgewood Schools for 15 years at MES in Student Nutritional Services, as a Manager, Supervisor of Catering, and Supervisor of Secondary Schools. Prior to her employment with the school district many may remember her from the Corner Store in Edgewood, where she always greeted her customers by their name. She loved her community and enjoyed camping, thrifting, going for a ride on “Eleanor”, just spending time with family, an avid NASCAR fan and her garden. She was a dedicated, generous, loving and caring person, who will be missed dearly. Rest in peace beautiful lady, until we all meet again. Your loving family.
