Arthur Luna

Arthur Luna 79, a lifetime resident of Mountainair NM went to be with his Lord and Savior February 27, 2021. He passed away at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque NM. Arthur was born on September 6, 1941 in Albuquerque. Arthur loved creating wood canes and bird houses and loved going fishing. He was always very generous with anything he had, Arthur will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Arthur was proceeded in death by his grandparents Felipe and Rosa Luna and Gregorio and Francisquita Lobato; his parents Guadalupe and Margarita Luna; sisters Bernie Luna and Rosemary Alderete and son Charles Maldonado. Arthur is survived by daughter Valerie Luna and son Arthur "Artie" Luna; brothers Felipe, Jerry, Roger, Henry, Greg, and David Luna; sisters Josephine Potter and Carla Lente. Grandchildren Mikey Chavez and Charles and Brittney Maldonado. Arthur was survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thanks to Anna Zamora, caregiver and good friend. Funeral services were held at Saint Alice Catholic Church and burial followed at the Cienega cemetery near Mountainair where he was laid to rest on March 6, 2021.
