Alex Isidro Cordova

Alex Isidro Cordova, 65, passed away on June 8, 2018 in Los Lunas, New Mexico. He was born on March 27, 1953 in Santa Rosa, New Mexico to the late Juan and Carmen (Page) Cordova. On May 7, 1983 in Albuquerque, NM he married Deidre Logston. Alex loved all sports, especially Softball and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a lifetime NM resident and will be deeply missed by family and friends. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Roque Lopez. Alex is survived by his wife, DeeDee Cordova of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Sheri Vargas and husband Mike of Albuquerque, NM and Rachel Cordova-Kelly and husband Perry of Albuquerque, NM; brothers, Manuel Cordova, Juan Cordova, Melvin Cordova and Frank Lopez and sisters, Emma Aragon, Mary Garcia, Marcy Cordova, Rosie Ortiz, Joanne Cordova, Jessica Lopez, Patricia Hawkins and Vickie Lopez. Alex was blessed with 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A Funeral Service is scheduled for Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Nuestra Senora Del Refugio Catholic Church in Puerto De Luna, NM. The Rosary will be recited at 10:00 A.M. and the Celebration of Mass will follow at 11:00 A.M. Interment will be at the Nuestra Senora Del Refugio Catholic Cemetery.
