Adam Brian Sanchez

Adam Brian Sanchez, 44, passed away on December 9, 2023, with his family by his side as he joined our Heavenly Father. Adam, also known to his family and friends as “Biz”, was a quiet and humble man who loved his family and had a love for lowrider vehicles, particularly his 1964 Chevrolet Impala. Adam spent countless hours listening to music and working on his car. Adam also had a love for his Mothers (Theresa), cooking, always requesting her homemade tortillas and chili. Adam was a loving and devoted father to his only child Zander. He was also a loving Uncle and loved to joke with his nieces and nephews. Adam will be remembered by his friends and family for his kindness, always helping others without ever asking for anything in return. He had a huge heart and would give his shirt off his back to a complete stranger. Adam was also a devoted Raiders Fan, always wearing his Raiders gear everywhere he went. He enjoyed watching a variety sports on television, but would never miss a Raiders game. Adam found his calling as a Butcher in Moriarty New Mexico. He enjoyed his chosen career and was proud of the time and effort in perfecting the skills for this profession. Adam is preceded in death by his grandmothers Betty Sanchez and Predicanda Madrid. Adam was born to Abraham and Theresa Sanchez on March 14, 1979, in Albuquerque New Mexico. Adam is survived by his parents, Abraham and Theresa Sanchez, his sister Maryann Sapien, brother Mark Sanchez, and son Zander; his grandfathers Toby Sanchez, and Josefre Madrid; his nieces Mariah Montoya, Kimber Montoya, and Elena Madrid; his nephews Isaac Montoya, Marcos Madrid, Nathan Madrid, Harlen Sapien, Christian Montoya, and Isaiah Montoya; his sister-in-law Lynn Tafoya, his brother-in-law Sergio Sapien; Adam also leaves behind numberous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. Pallbearers will be : Tammy Lopez, Harlen Sapien, Joseph Chavez, Marcos Madrid, Julian Chavez, Nathan Madrid, and Sergio Sapien. Honorary Pallbearers are: Josefre Madrid, Toby Sanchez, Joshua Sanchez, Christian Montoya, Goddaughter Mariah Montoya, and Turtle Chavez. Viewing will be Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 4:00pm -6:00pm, at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary, 807 Central Ave, Moriarty NM, 87035. Visitation will be on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 9:00am, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Rosary Service will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023, at 10:00am, at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 22, 2023, at 11:00am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 215 Girard Ave, Moriarty NM, 87035. Following the service, the funeral procession will proceed to Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 85 Green Rd, Moriarty NM, 87035, for the burial. Upon completion of all services, the family would like to invite everyone to the Moriarty Civic Center, 202 S Broadway, Moriarty NM, 87035, for food, fellowship, in celebration of the life of Adam Bryan (Biz) Sanchez.
