Inez Evelyn Metzger

Inez Evelyn Metzger, 95, of Estancia, NM passed away Monday, December 17, 2007 at her home in Estancia, NM with her loving family beside her. Inez was born July 24, 1912 in Quinter, KS to Daniel and Catherine (Bingaman) Ikenberry. Inez married Wayne S. Metzger on January 16, 1932 who preceded her in death in 1989. She was also preceded in death by her parents and great granddaughter, Shainne Leigh Riley. Inez was a member of the Estancia Home Makers, Pythian Sisters and the Church of the Breathern. Inez is survived by her son, Jerry Metzger and wife Rowena of Estancia, NM; daughter, Lorena Coburn and husband Duane of Estancia, NM; nine grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren. Graveside Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 10:30 AM at the Estancia Cemetery in Estancia, NM; Doris Jaquis and Shirley Sweat will be officiating. Pallbearers are Donnie Coburn, Ronnie Coburn, Troy Coburn, Mike Coburn, Warren Metzger, Wayne Metzger, Leland Riley and Todd Dunlap.
