Maria Guadalupe Saiz

Guadalupe Saiz, 90, of Moriarty, NM passed away Saturday, April 5, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. Guadalupe was born August 22, 1917 in Rincones Colorados, NM to Jose and Reyes (Sandoval) Gonzales. Guadalupe married Prospero Saiz on December 2, 1935 who preceded her in death in 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sons, Frank Saiz, Ross Saiz, daughters; Addie Tafoya and Terry Saiz. Guadalupe was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church and Society. Guadalupe is survived by her son, Robert Saiz and wife Jolene of Castle Rock, CO; daughters, Mary Quintero of Moriarty, NM; Alice Williams of Moriarty, NM; Patsy Rubi and husband Ernest Sr. of Mountainair, NM; Dorenda Baca of Moriarty, NM; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great - great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Viewing will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2008 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM. A Rosary will be recited on April 8, 2008 at 7:00 PM at Our Lady or Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM; Father William Young will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Mount Carmel Catholic Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers are Paul Lopez, Ernest Rubi Jr., William Baca II, Christopher Williams, Jack Saiz and Jake Saiz. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Foster, Juana Saiz, Ernest Rubi Sr., William Tafoya, Larry Saiz, all grandchildren, great grandchildren, great - great grandchildren and all nieces and nephews.
