Felicita Chavez, 84, of Torreon, NM passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 at her home in Torreon, NM. Felicita was born on February 27, 1924 in Torreon, NM to Melquidas and Adelina (Montoya) Chavez. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Celina; brothers, Juan Jose; Florencio; and sisters, Lucinda; Teresita and Eulalia. Felicita is survived by her sisters, Anita Sanchez; Preselia Luna; nephew Johnny Lujan and wife Liz and their daughters and numerous nieces and nephews. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 7:00 PM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Torreon, NM. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Torreon, NM; Father Ron Stone will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Torreon Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael Crabb, Paul Chavez, Shawn Henderson, Leonard Lujan, Lonny Lujan and Francisco Barela.
