Jasper Peter Johanson Jr., 82, of Moriarty, NM passed away March 16, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM. Jasper was born December 25, 1924 in Lanesboro, MN to Jasper Peter and Ruby (Blanchard) Johanson Sr. Jasper was a member of the Shiner’s Club; VFW Post 49; Ike Cole Post 3370 and the Carriage Club. He was preceded in death by his parents. Jasper is survived by his wife and companion Marilyn (Leikam) Johanson of 17 years of Moriarty, NM; sons, Robert Johanson of Edgewood, NM; Ronald Johanson and wife Karen of Edgewood, NM; daughters, Debbie Johanson and Greg Bardouche of Albuquerque, NM; Jodi Johanson and Shawn Wagner of Edgewood, NM; sisters, Beverly Stillman; Janice Headley and six grandchildren. Viewings will be held Monday, March 19, 2007 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 8:00 AM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2007 at 10:00 AM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary Chapel in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers are Shawn Wagener, Greg Bardouche, Erik Johanson, Ronny Johanson, Butch Johanson and Richard Piano. Internment will be held Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
