Vashti Lucy Wingo, 90, of Moriarty, NM passed away Saturday, March 31, 2007 at her home in Moriarty, NM. Vashti was born January 13, 1917 in Clayton, NM to Vurrell Bennett Gard and Ella Ethel Pace. She was preceded in death by her husband Rolland L. Wingo in 1972. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Kenneth Vurrell Burton; and brother, O’Sire Gershom Gard. Vashti survived by her son, Obie Burton Sr.; daughter, Ethel Ogle and 60 grandchildren and great grandchildren.
