Teresa T Sanchez

Teresa T. Sanchez, 85, of Punta De Agua, NM passed away Thursday, April 12, 2007 at her home in Punta De Agua. Teresa was born July 1, 1921 in Progreso, New Mexico to Jose Antonio and Juanita (Ballejos) Torres. Teresa married Tobias Sanchez November 27, 1937 who preceded her in death in 1965. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Toby Sanchez; daughter, Cora Alderete; brother, Daniel Torres; and sister, Oralia Chaon. Teresa is survived by her sons, Vivian and wife Ester Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM; Mario A. Sanchez of Albuquerque, NM; Claud and wife Brenda Sanchez of Elkhart, KS; daughters, Cecila and husband Jose Chavez of Torreon, NM; Dolores and husband Orlando Lopez of Manzano, NM; Carla and husband Frank Lucero of Mountainair, NM; brothers, Fermin Torres of Barstow, CA; Eloy Torres of Punta De Agua, NM; sisters, Elvira Gonzales of Punta De Agua, NM; Mary Abeyta of Santa Fe, NM; 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. A Rosary will be recited Sunday, April 15, 2007 at 7:00 PM at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Punta De Agua, NM. A Mass will be held Monday, April 16, 2007 at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Punta De Agua, NM; Father Ron Stone will be officiating. Internment will follow at the St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church in Punta De Agua, NM. Pallbearers are Vincent Sanchez, Mark Chavez, Daniel Lopez, Francisco Lucero, Justin Sanchez and Ruben Sanchez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Eloy Torres, Fermin Torres, Charles Gonzales, Manuel Quintana, Polinanio Chavez and Samuel Tabet.
