Ramona S Bernal

Ramona S. Bernal, 89, of Mountainair, NM passed away Thursday, May 24, 2007 in Albuquerque, NM with her loving family beside her. Ramona was born March 1, 1918 in Manzano, NM to Valentine and Rosaura (Griego) Sena. Ramona was a member of St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair and was on the Alter Society. Ramona married Pedro Bernal who preceded her in death April 15, 1991. Ramona was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Frank Bernal, and granddaughter, Margaret Salazar. Ramona is survived by her sons, Lee Roy Bernal and wife Marina of CA; Stephan Bernal of Santa Fe, NM; daughters, Susan McCart of CA; Carmen Bernal of AZ; Dorothy Sandoval and husband Eddie of McIntosh, NM; adopted daughter, Anita Nieto and her children of Mountainair, NM; 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 12:00 Noon at St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM. A Mass will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2007 at 1:00 PM at St. Alice Catholic Church in Mountainair, NM, Father Ron Stone will be officiating. Internment will follow at the Mountainair Catholic Cemetery in Mountainair, NM. Pallbearers will be Keith McCart, Frank Bernal, Andrew Gonzales, Edward Sandoval, Pedro Bernal, and Victor Bernal.
