Joe Eligio Salazar

Joe Eligio Salazar, 81, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Friday, June 10, 2005 surrounded by his loving family at the home of his son, Jay Salazar, in Moriarty, NM. Joe was born December 1, 1923 in La Cueva, NM to Norberto and Carlota (Herrera) Salazar. He had worked as a custodian for the Albuquerque Public Schools before retiring. A son, Jay Salazar and his wife, Caroline of Moriarty, NM, survive Joe. His parents, Norberto and Carlota Salazar, and Joe’s wife, Maria Senaida Salazar, predeceased him. All will remember Joe as a loving husband, father, and friend. There will be a Viewing at the Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Albuquerque, NM on Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Graveside Service at 10:00 a.m. Rabbi Rick Lastrapes will be officiating.
