Barbara Ann Macleod

Barbara Ann MacLeod, 73, a long time resident of Moriarty, NM and formerly of Chesterton, Indiana passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM. Barbara was born June 11, 1934 to Charles and Barbara (Radl) Sedlacek in Chicago, IL. Barbara enjoyed many things; she was an active crafter of all types and she enjoyed her ceramics most. Barbara was a long time active member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. She did many things benefiting people far and wide. Traveling across the country with her beloved husband Don of 55 years she saw most of the country. She truly and most of all enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. Barbara left a large family who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her husband Don; daughters, Victoria L Reith and husband Dennis of Grovetown, GA; Marilyn A Hewes and husband Patrick of Las Vegas, NV; Linda M. Frazier and husband Larry of Oskaloosa, IA; Paula E. Vasquez and husband Daniel of Albuquerque, NM; sons, Christopher M. MacLeod and wife Sheila of Harrisonville, MO; Patrick J. MacLeod of Albuquerque, NM; Joseph W. MacLeod and wife Ramona of Albuquerque, NM; 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Donald J. MacLeod Jr. A memorial rosary will be recited Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. A mass will be celebrated Monday, April 21, 2008 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. Father William Young officiating.
