Ronald Herbert Ashworth

Ronald Herbert Ashworth, of Edgewood NM, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009. Ronald was born January 23, 1939 in Huntington, West Virginia to Edgar Lee and Helen (Smith) Ashworth. He married Janie Kay Haney in Yuma, AZ on October 13, 1999. Ronald lived in Edgewood for the past eight years. He was a life long member of the VFW. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Janie; three sons, Roy W. Haney of Lake Ellsinore, CA, Jason Lee Haney of Lubbock, TX, and Randy Ashworth of Huntington, WV; six daughters, Kimberly Ricci and her husband, Michael, of Edgewood, NM, Angela Yanez and her husband, Ismael, of Moriarty, NM, Tonya Heredia and her husband, Indio, of Moriarty, NM, Rhonda Ashworth and Jacob Lucero, of Huntington, WV, Kathy Lyies and her husband, Jim, of Huntington, WA, and Tina Webb and her husband, Joe, of Huntington, WV; twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Private family memorial services have taken place.
