Cristobal Z. Martinez

Cristobal Z. Martinez, 84, of Edgewood, NM, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2005 in Albuquerque, NM with his loving family beside him. Cristobal was born June 23, 1921 in Dahlia, NM to Porfirio and Eulogia (Lucero) Martinez. He married Marcella Olguin on February 2, 1960 in Anton Chico, NM. They lived there until 1999 when they moved to Edgewood. Cristobal served in the United States Army during World War II. Cristobal is survived by his wife, Marcella, sons, Fabian Martinez and his wife Alicia of Edgewood, NM, and Blas Martinez of Clovis, NM; brother, Joe A. Martinez, sister, Margie Baca; and grandchildren Fabian Martinez, Jr., and Audrey Martinez. His parents, Porfirio and Eulogia Martinez preceded him in death. Cristobal will be remembered as a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend and will be missed by all that knew and loved him. There will be a Visitation on Thursday, August 25, 2005 at 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM. Funeral services will be held Friday August 26, 2005—10:00 AM at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary. Interment will be on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 1:30 PM at the Santa Fe national Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Pallbearers will be Luis Baca, Albert Olguin, Florencio Olguin, Floyd Olguin, Ruben Martinez and Dennis Martinez. Lorenzo Delgado will be officiating.
