Oliver Lee West

Oliver Lee West, 80, of Moriarty, NM passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. Oliver was born January 5th 1929 in Hereford, TX to Birch Albin and Mica Bell (Mullin) West. He married Constance June Heck in Belen, NM in the 1950’s. Oliver was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association. Farming and horses were his passion. Oliver lived in Moriarty, NM for the past forty-eight years coming from Hereford, TX. Oliver is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife June sons, Rodney Randy, Roger and Robbie, all of Moriarty, NM; daughter, Kristi Clements of Emporia, KS; brother, Preston West of Moriarty, NM; sisters, Earlene Russell of Spearman, TX and Mattie Jane McBeth of Pawaki, Wes; sixteen grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
