John Robert Mestas

John Robert Mestas, 77, of Moriarty, NM passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 in Albuquerque, NM. Juan was born on September 4, 1932 in Trinidad, CO to Robert and Tiadarita (Gonzales) Mestas. John served in the Air Force for twenty-two years. He was a bronze star recipient. He lived in Moriarty, NM for the past fifteen years coming from Denver, CO. John is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by three sons, Daniel R., John P., and Michael A. Mestas; one daughter, Shirley Hill; and eleven grandchildren. There will be a service on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 10:00AM at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty, NM with Brother Robert Hunt. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 1:00PM.
