Florian Urbain Renaud

Florian Urbain Renaud, 72, of Edgewood, NM went to be with his Lord on Monday, November 7, 2005. Florian was born November 15, 1932 to Urbain J. and Bernadette R. (Laurencelle) Renaud in St. Johnsbury, VT. Florian served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict as a Staff Sergeant. Florian attended Holy Apostles Seminary, and was ordained to the Presbyterate on May 19, 1998 by The Most Reverend Michael J. Sheehan, STL, JCD. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Father Renaud served as a Parish Priest for St. Alice’s Parish in Mountainair, NM before retiring. He was a member of the Estancia Valley Catholic Parish, and attended the St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Edgewood, NM. Florian is survived b his sister, Annette Lemieux; niece Rochelle Bacon; and nephews Jared Bacon, and Zachary Bacon. His parents, Urbain, and Bernadette Renaud preceded him in death. A Rosary will be recited for Father Renaud on Wednesday, November 9, 2005 at 7:00 PM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Moriarty, NM. A Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church in Edgewood, NM. The Most Reverend Michael J. Sheehan, STL, JCD will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Jared Bacon, Zachary Bacon, Deacon Charles Schwinn, Deacon Alton Adams, Mark Muzzy, and David Galvan. There will be light refreshments served after the Funeral Mass at the Edgewood Community Center in Edgewood, NM. Interment will take place at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Albuquerque, NM.
