Thelma Naomi Wilson

Thelma Naomi Wilson, 84, of Mountainair, NM, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2005 in Mountainair, NM with her loving family beside her. Thelma was born January 8, 1921 in Dickens, TX to Frank and Naomi (Hudspeth) Swan. She married Samuel Wilson on September 2, 1942. He preceded her in death on February 4, 1974. She moved to Mountainair, NM in April 1996 coming from Jacksonville, TX. Thelma is survived by a son, Samuel Wilson of Mountainair, NM; daughters, Jimmie Gilbert and her husband Charles, Barbara Mathis, and Mary Shaw all of Mountainair, NM; seven grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and two great-great- grandchildren. Her parents, husband, and brother Frank Swan preceded her in death. Thelma will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother and will be missed by all that knew and loved her. A Viewing will be on Thursday, August 4, 2005 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Harris-Hanlon Chapel in Mountainair, NM. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, August 8, 2005 at 10:00 AM at the Moore Cemetery in Bruceville, TX.
