William Franklin Kohler

William Franklin Kohler, 70, of Mountainair, NM, passed away Monday, July 11, 2005 at his residence with his loving family around him. William was born in Long Beach, CA on November 14, 1934 to Hugo Franklin and Frances Marine (Berry) Kohler. He married Doris Rose Edwards on December 25, 1958 in Monte Vista, CO. They moved to Mountainair, NM from Bulla, WY in 1990. He served in the United States Marine Corp. William was a member of the Masonic Lodge, NM Gun Collectors, and the National Rifle Association. His wife, Doris; sons, Claude Herbert Kohler and his wife, Mei of Albuquerque, NM, and Robert Vernon Kohler and his wife Agnes Ann of Mountainair, NM; daughter, Misty Rose Wood and her husband Luke of Santa Fe, NM; sister, Jane Ann Travis of NJ; and three grandchildren survive William. William will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend and will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
