Fedelina Garcia

Fedelina Garcia, 94, of Willard. NM passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at her home with her loving family beside her. Fedelina was born February 15, 1913 in Punta De Agua, NM to Salvador and Maria (Jaramillo) Griego. Fedelina married Salomon Garcia in 1932. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, the Alter Society, and the Eucharistic League of St. Charles. Fedelina was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Earnestine Garcia; sisters, Adela Chavez; Manuelita Herrera; brother, Sisto Griego; grandson, Joe A. “Chip” Garcia Jr.; granddaughters, Jamie Garcia, Celina Salgado; son-in-laws, Terrel J. Vickoren; William Brown, sister-in-laws, Florinda Chavez and Clorinda Garcia. Fedelina is survived by sons, Chris Garcia and wife Jeannine of Willard, NM; Joe A. Garcia Sr. of Willard, NM; Herminio Garcia and wife Anita of Albuquerque, NM; daughters, Rose Brown of Willard, NM; Nora Tenorio and husband Richard of Albuquerque, NM; Prescilla Vickeron of Lake Side, AZ; Miguela Tackett and husband Randy of Ft. Sumner, NM; Gloria Padilla of Albuquerque, NM; Ramona Sanders and husband Dave of Camp Verde, AZ; Lorella Alderete and husband LeRoy of Torreon, NM; brother, Pedro Griego of Albuquerque, NM; sisters, Virginia Aragon of Albuquerque, NM; Carmen Thompson of Albuquerque, NM; Mary Griego of Albuquerque , NM; 34 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; and 27 great-great grandchildren. A rosary will be recited Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 3:00 pm at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Willard, NM. The mass will be celebrated Monday, February 18, 2008 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Willard, NM. Burial will follow at the El Rosario Cemetery in Willard, NM. Pallbearers will be Chris Garcia, Joe A. Garcia Sr., Herminio Garcia, LeRoy Alderete, Johnny Garcia, and Dave Sanders. Honorary pallbearer will be Adam Garcia.
