Talon Samuel Dunkle, 18, made life’s final graduation May 23, 2009. Born July 1, 1990 to Wendy Lynn Yette and Harold Samuel Dunkle, Jr. in Bremerton Washington, Talon lived in the several different states during his lifetime, with friends in all of them. Talon is survived by his mother, Wendy Wade and husband Walter of Coos Bay, Oregon; his father, Sam Dunkle and wife Gail of McIntosh, New Mexico; sister Brittany Herrington and husband Rodney of Albuquerque; sister Victoria Hill of Coos Bay, Oregon; brother Morgan Dunkle of McIntosh; his great grandmother Ann Yette, of Ramah, NM.; his grandparents, Harold Dunkle Sr. of Silverdale, Washington; Barbara and Gilbert Yette of Ramah NM; Aunts Jenny King, of Albuquerque; Kelly Camonayan, of Port Orchard Washington; Teresa Dunkle, of Belfair, Washington; Becky Ahart, of Bremerton, Washington; Hazel Dunkle, of Kitsap, Washington; and Christine Wright of Idaho; Uncles Jason Yette of Washington and Brian Yette of California; step brothers Jeremy Friis of Aztec, NM and Andrew Moore of Estancia; step sisters Hannah Friis of Moriarty, Rebekah Friis Holmlund and husband Paul of Albuquerque and Beth Moore of McIntosh; his godmother, Penny Thompson, of Sequim, Washington, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Recently preceding him in death are his grandmother, Carrie Carter Dunkle and cousin Joshua Ahart. Honorary Pall Bearers: Rodney “RJ” Klum, Scott Bloomer, Howard “Uncle Howie” King, Corey Bear, Shawn Huntley, Dale “Jake” Clary and Ramon Acosta. Talon was assistant manager at Dollar General in Moriarty. He was straightforward, caring and thoughtful, with an adventurous spirit and huge sense of humor. He wasn’t afraid to express his opinion The family requests special effort to drive safely and more slowly throughout our lifetimes in remembrance of Talon. Donations toward expenses would be greatly appreciated. Services include viewing/visitation from 4-8 PM on Wednesday, May 27 and a memorial at 11AM on Thursday, May 28, to be followed by lunch at the family garage, Car & Truck Services, 1101 Rt 66 in Moriarty. Services entrusted to Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Moriarty.
