Chester Marvin Henson

Chester Marvin Henson, 90, of Moriarty, NM passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2008 at his home in Moriarty, NM with his loving family by his side. Marvin was born on February 15, 1918 in Forrest, New Mexico to James Milton and Ola Christina (McBride) Henson. Marvin married Opal Mitchell in Albuquerque, NM on February 28, 1946 she also preceded him in death in 1995. He was also preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Elmer Henson and Lester Henson. Marvin is survived by his son, Stanley Henson and wife Mary Lou of Moriarty, NM; daughter, Lynne Murdock and husband Al of Moriarty, NM; brothers, Otis Henson; Marion Henson; sister, Lottie Mae Beck; 5 grandchildren, Matthew Murdock and wife Odessa; Shannon Murdock-Miles; JC Burson and wife Jennifer; Chester Henson; Cody Henson and 4 great grandchildren, Adyson Miles; Lily Cerena Miles; Melissa Burson and Travis Burson. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 10:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Moriarty, NM; Pastor Tom Schenk will be officiating. Interment will follow at the Mountain View Cemetery in Moriarty, NM. Pallbearers are Matthew Murdock, Chester Henson, Cody Henson, J.C. Burson, Travis Burson, Brad Miles and Melissa Burson.
