Frank Rivera Bernal

Frank Rivera Bernal, 89, of Mountainair, NM passed away on September 6, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM with his loving family beside him. Frank was born on September 24, 1918 in LaCiniga, NM to Toridio and Vivianita (Chavez) Bernal. Frank married Terecita Jaramillo on December 26, 1935. Frank was a member of the St. Alice Catholic Parish and the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Punta de Agua. He was also a member of the American Legion and was a Music Composer. Frank was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Edward Bernal; and one daughter, Emma Bernal-Patterson. He is survived by his wife Terecita; son, William John Bernal; daughters, Betty Bernal; Eloisa Pineda and husband Victor all of Punta de Agua, NM; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A rosary will be recited on Friday, September 12, 2008 at 10:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Punta de Agua, NM. A mass will be celebrated Friday, September 12, 2008 at 11:00 AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Punta de Agua, NM. Interment will follow at the Punta de Agua Catholic Cemetery. Father Ron Stone will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Romero, Tony Gonzales, Michael Gonzales, Steve Pineda, Ronald Gutierrez,Floyd Jaramillo and Noah Plog.
