Traven Jay Meeker, 1 year, 4 months and 10 days, passed away in Chula Vista CA on Monday, October 19, 2009. Traven was born on June 9, 2008 in Albuquerque, NM to Daniel and LaFraya (Tafoya) Meeker. Traven is preceded in death by his great grandfather Lamar Moorhead and grandfather Michael Meeker. He is survived by his parents, Daniel Eugene Meeker and LaFraya Meeker; brothers, Jaden Meeker and Taren Meeker; grandparents, Cliff and LaJean Tafoya and Alexis Meeker; great-grandparents Ralph Tafoya, Fabiola Amezquita, Carletta Moorhead and Janice and Benjamin Rediker; great-great grandparents Annie Peralta and Grace Moorhead; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins; and one Tata. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM. The Funeral Service will be at the First Baptist Church of Mountainair at 1:00PM on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 with Pastor Paul Gerritson officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Mountainair Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Meeker, Jonathan Meeker, Dakoda Moorhead and Joshua Tafoya. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nicholas Romero, Marcelino Romero, and Montana Moorhead.
